Each Sub-Saharan African nation has been assigned a National Team Manager who is responsible for coordinating the country’s entry and liaising with the Esports Nations Cup organisers.

Each nation’s Team Manager appoints a League of Legends Title Coach who leads the title from an operational and competitive standpoint, overseeing player assessment, player management, administration, team preparation, and overall direction.

Eligible players are invited to submit their details for consideration. Depending on the nation, selection may be based on player submissions, trials, coach discretion, or any other process chosen by the appointed selection staff. The final squad will be determined by selecting the strongest players to represent the country, based on current rank tier, local experience, tournament history, role strength, performance, and overall team fit. Player submissions close on 10 May.

Selected national teams face off in the Sub-Saharan Africa regional qualifier. Only two nations will qualify to represent the region.
